This case is awesome! I was looking for a case that was compatible with an Apple smart cover when I stumbled upon this one, and let me tell you: this is way better. I don’t have to worry about the cover coming off in my bag and the back of my iPad is safe from scratches. Well worth the price (especially since that price is half that of an Apple smart cover by itself!)Update: Three months later, the case is still on my iPad, and I still really like it. However, here are two issues that are kind of bugging me: 1) The magnets were never super strong (obviously, you can’t put very strong magnets on an electronic device, duh!) but they seemed to have weakened over time. The case used to hold up just fine, but now I find that the cover – when folded into a triangle to prop the iPad up – falls flat a lot or comes unfolded if I try to move it around. This never used to happen. It still holds up OKAY, it’s just frustrating to be reading or watching a movie and all of a sudden your iPad falls down/over. 2) The front part of the case has started coming apart. It was easily fixed, and I know exactly what happened, but I just think that if someone sees this then they can be aware before buying it. Here’s what happened: The front cover fits so snugly over the end, that when opening it, my fingers would lift up the edge, separating the front and back layers of fabric. So, after three months of this light pulling (and opening/closing the iPad multiple times an hour, every single day) the fabric has come apart at the edge. I squeezed a bit of glue between the layers and pressed them back together, so it’s not a problem anymore. Easy fix, and the case still works great otherwise.

I got this iPad case for my husband, and he absolutely loves it. It’s every bit as good as the Apple SmartCover + case, despite being WAY cheaper ($20 versus $60-70!). The sleep/wake function works great, and the case is sturdy and attractive. Before deciding on this one, we spent at least an hour in the Apple store, looking at nearly every case/cover they had. We were disgusted with the pricing. It’s especially ridiculous that they expect people to pay $40 for a cover and then an additional $20-30 on a “smart-cover compatible” case. (And those are their cheapest options!) We looked through tons of iPad covers on Amazon, and this was the best deal. At this price, it seemed too good to be true, but the product really is as described. The Khomo case is a good way to avoid Apple’s exorbitant pricing without sacrificing quality. More people should know about it.

I was about to give it a try to Apple’s Smart case (for almost $40). Then I was thinking in buying a compatible case to also cover the back of my ipad 2…. Then I found this listing and gave it a try. AMAZING!! It is the exact same Apple Smart Cover PLUS it is attached to a hard back cover. All in just one case. It fits like a glove. Smart Cover turn off the iPad screen when I close the case. It stands, it does everything perfectly… Im so happy!!! For this price I might as well buy several colors to have. Quality, size, color, everything 5 stars!

When I bought this keyboard, I knew I was getting a generic Apple knock-off, that wasn’t as high-quality as a genuine Apple product. It was also a lot cheaper. And that’s just what I needed. I specifically bought this keyboard so I could type on my iPhone while I’m in the car. I needed one that was just the bare basics — as small as it could be while still standard-spaced keys. I also didn’t want to pay too much, since I’d only use it every so often when we go on road-trips. I have a Rocketfish Bluetooth keyboard which I do most of my heavy-duty typing on, though it’s a bit of a beast as far as size goes, so having something this portable is awesome. Pros: – Slim, Sleek design — exactly as pictured, nice and concise. – Quiet keys indeed — almost exactly like my ASUS laptop keys. Quiet and smooth. – Long battery life — haven’t tested it yet, but the seller reports 3 months continuous use. – Relatively solid construction — it doesn’t feel flimsy, at all. Definitely not aluminum, but it’s not like I’m going to be storing my jewelry in it or riding it down the street. – Price — Half as much -shipped- as the Apple keyboard’s -list price-. – Functional Hot Keys! — They definitely work! Though, I can’t quite figure out what the flower is supposed to do… So perhaps that one doesn’t work — it just makes the screen go black. Cons: – All plastic — Unlike the Apple keyboard, there’s no anodized aluminum frame here. – Unfunctional Hot key? — the aforementioned flower… maybe it’s an iPad thing. – Connect button — It’s a bit hard to press, and if I didn’t have long nails, I think I’d have to get something to push it with. – Bit slow — There is a slight delay between ‘waking’ the keyboard and it typing again, and it seems to go to sleep after not too long. However, this may be an iPhone software sort of thing, rather than specific to the keyboard. Overall: It’s always important to do your research. Are you getting an Apple-quality keyboard for $30? No. But, you are getting a tidy little keyboard, that looks very sleek, types very smooth, and didn’t break the bank. As long as you don’t go dropping it, the plastic construction isn’t going to be a problem. And hey, if you do? You can probably get another one, and still come out cheaper than the Apple. X) We’ll see how long the silver paint lasts, though… On the flip side, if you’re going for longevity, power use, dedicated desktop keyboard, etc… it’s probably best to make the investment. Hopefully, this helped you be a little more informed so, like me, you can find exactly what you were looking for. X) <3

I ordered this to use when doing email on my IPAD. I am not big on the touch screen keyboard for email. I selected this based on some other customer reviews after I had ordered and tried 2 different flexible keyboards I thought would be great that I was not satisfied with. This keyboard has all the apple function keys, and works flawlessly so far (2 months). It works every time you turn it back on- sync’s automatically every time. I also just had chance to compare it to the actual Apple version, and this one looks almost exactly the same. The Apple keyboard has a real metal surface, and I cooler battery housing molded into the design, but it is also over 2 times the cost. The keys are exactly the same.
