Great replacement battery!, May 31, 2010
This is a great, inexpensive replacement battery for my Toshiba laptop. It works perfectly and gives me about 3 hours of battery life! A great improvement from the 10 minutes I could get on my old battery. Highly recommend.
Great option for Laptop Battery., January 24, 2010
This battery doesn’t provide as much battery time as I was hoping, but it is better than what I had. Definitely saved me some money.
Dead Battery within a Year, September 23, 2011
Initially the first battery did not hold charge for more than 10 minutes so they send me the second battery. Now, its not even 1year yet and 2nd battery is not holding charge at all. I expected to hold charge for atleast 2 years. I guess you get what you pay for. Excellent Laptop!, December 15, 2011
We purchased this to replace a Gateway laptop and I have to say so far this ASUS is an excellent little computer! Very easy to get this up and running and it loads pages quickly. The warranty that comes with the laptop is one of the best that I’ve seen. For the money you can’t go wrong with this!
OK laptop for the money – just OK., December 4, 2011
I bought this to replace my daughter’s Dell. She is rough on electronics, so I didn’t want to spend big bucks. This is a very modest laptop and you get what you pay for. It is quite slow when browsing the web. Pages are very delayed uploading and closing. The track pad is very sensitive and no amount of tweaking it seems to really get it working efficiently. Like a couple other reviewers noted, the select buttons below the touch pad give a loud click when using them, but that is a minor annoyance. A wireless mouse solved those issues. The display is decent and the keyboard has a nice soft touch. It is durable and the battery life so far has been excellent. If you have the need for speed, this is not the machine for you, but it will take care of basic functions. I compare this to my Sony Vaio and there is truly no comparison.
